OAR

This past weekend I went to OAR with my roommate and some of her friends. This is Gina, me, Liz and Ashley in the middle of the crowd! One of the coolest things was that we got to ride to the concert in a LIMO!!! I haven't been in a limo since I was in high school. It was a pretty fun concert but we didn't stay for the whole thing. Also, I know you can't really tell but I got 3 inches cut off of my hair.... finally!

Ashley's baby shower

Two weekends ago was Ashley's baby shower! This is Jen, Ashley and I right before we left. It was such a fun time! Baby Anderson is due on October 19....... right around the corner! I absolutely cannot wait to meet him!

Ethan and Luda

For those of you who don't remember, Ethan and Luda are the kids I used to babysit throughout college. I was with them for 3 years! Above is a picture of them when I first started babysitting them. They were 6 and 8 - now they are 9 and 12. Well, I got to babysit them two weekends ago and look how much they have grown!!!!



Luda is almost as tall as me if not the same height. My favorite thing to do with them was always to have movie nights with pizza and popcorn and that is what we did when I was there! We watched Labrynth, a strange movie but one that I loved from childhood. The funniest thing to me is that Luda is obsessed with David Bowie right now! She is definitely not a typical 12 year old. She has all of his cds and wouldn't stop talking about him. Luda has always reminded me so much of myself when I was her age. I tend to get "obsessed" with certain movie stars too. I loved seeing them and I cannot wait to see them again!

Mamma Mia

I am obsessed. For anyone who has not seen this movie, PLEASE go see it. I haven't enjoyed a movie this much in a really time and everyone knows that I am a movie fanatic! Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried are just fabulous. Pierce Brosnan tries to be serious but he is my comical outlet, along with Julie Walters. It might be more of a chick flick since it is a musical but you should still see it. My friend Kathryn and I went to see the sing-along version last night and YES, we sang the whole time! I could watch it over and over again. Seriously, go see it!

Bella is going to be a bumble bee for halloween!!!!

Many of you already know that but I thought I would go ahead and share this picture. I think my puppy looks so cute in this picture. I am trying to get her used to the costume so she can willingly wear it the entire week of halloween. She isn't properly wearing her hat in this picture so we will definitely be working on that. How cute is she though? seriously?

VA tech VS. GA tech

This is Heather and I at the Virginia Tech football game this past weekend. I went up to Blacksburg, Virginia with Heather, Chuck and Chuck's brother for the game. I have only ever experienced NC State football games so this was a fun change of scenery!

lake trip

last weekend chelsea, julie, kathryn, cara and i went to chelsea's lake house. this is julie, chelsea and kathryn on the boat!

we were expecting bad weather all week but saturday turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day!
kathryn, julie and i tubing. chelsea was driving the boat. i thought it was quite a rough ride and i was quite frightened the entire time but the other two enjoyed it. i enjoyed if afterwards.
bella had a really fun time at the lake too! she went for a swim, went for a nice leash-free run, rolled around on a fish head (gross) and attempted to eat the fish head (siiiiiiiiiiiiick). i think she had a good weekend.

Ashley and Anderson

I just wanted to show off my cute friend Ashley. She is very pregnant and the cutest little pregnant girl! She is one of my best friends and I was around while she was pregnant with Camden. It is hard to believe that Camden is almost 4 and Ashley is about to have her second child! I am so excited for her and her family. I absolutely cannot wait for Anderson to arrive. His due date is October 19. I love you Brown family!!!

chillaxin'

This is my silly, crazy, lovable Bella watching TV on my bed while getting cozy with her George. Whenever I am on my computer at my desk in my room, Bella either tries to jump in my lap or goes and sits on this exact spot on my bed. If the TV is on, she WILL watch it (especially if its animal planet.... I try to let her watch a few times a week (-;). I always try to grab my camera but that usually means getting up from my desk and whenever I walk anywhere, Bella follows. But this day I was lucky enough to have it right next to my computer! And I just love it because she is loving on George. Also, she later fell asleep in that same position! I am so lucky that I have a dog who continually makes me laugh!

I had a very relaxing and productive Labor Day weekend! I took my family portrait on Saturday, which hopefully I can share soon. You know from the previous post that I spent time with the Joyners. I also spent a lot of time cleaning and organizing my room. Bella and I played together a lot. I hung out with my stepbrother and then spent the day at the pool. I definitely have no complaints!

This past weekend I got the privilege of seeing the Joyners twice! It had been a very long time. I babysat for Jason's birthday on Friday night and then went over there again on Sunday to spend time with Jen. The Browns joined us as well. The kids had so much fun playing together! My friends have super cute kids, don't you think?
