Catherine Wilson's Wedding!

On Staurday I went to my friend Caterherine Wilson's wedding. I cannot believe she is married! Catherine and I have been friends since I was a sophomore in high school. We met at church but also went to the same high school and had a lot of fun times together! She is one of the sweetest people I know but also one of the funniest! She can make me laugh more than anyone. Anyway, I was honored to have been invited to her wedding! I took Josh along as my "date" and it was also fun running into a bunch of old friends!

I didn't whip out my camera until about 8 pm so I definitely missed a lot of good pictures. The wedding reception was in the towers at Carter Finley Stadium. I thought it was SOOOO cool that they had a slideshow of pictures over the big screen on the field! It was a very lovely wedding!

Lauren Davis and I. Lauren was Catherine's maid of honor. Lauren is also engaged and will be getting married in October. It was definitely good to see her!

This is JJ Johnson and I. By far, seeing her was the highlight of my night. She is extremely important to me. Sadly, we have lost touch over the last 4 years.... I hadn't seen her since her wedding day!! I wasn't expecting to see her and once I did, it was so exciting!!! And it also felt like I had seen her just 2 months ago or something. I love her!

I missed photo opportunities with Adam Gardner as well as Jon and Megan Horner! Sad day but it was definitely a fun wedding!!!! :)

My little sister turned 21 on Tuesday. I absolutely cannot believe it. I feel like I just turned 21. It just seems like she should be turning 18 and not 21. Anyway, we went out to eat for her birthday at a very yummy restaurant in Carrboro, Panzanella! I had the best meal...... Lemon Parmesean Chicken! It was a very fun dinner and I am going back out there tomorrow to continue the celebration!

My new favorite tv shows:

Law and Order: CI
This is a very risky move on my part due to the fact that I get so scared SO easily. But, I think I have turned over a new leaf. I am not AS scared as I normally am. Maybe I am braving it out. OR Maybe it will take a turn for the worse when I am home alone at night at 2 am and all these murder stories start popping into my head. We shall see. For now, I love it and am very addicted to this show! I never thought I would like Law and Order. I used to get annoyed on how it is constantly on TV but now I am thankful. HA.


And then my new obsession:

I have always wanted to watch 24. I had watched part of season 1 before but never finished it. I just finished Season 1 yesterday (I watched in 4 nights.... loser-ish, i know!) and OH MY GOODNESS. It was so good! I can't wait to watch all the other seasons!!!!

Mecaden turns 2!

On Sunday, I went to Mecaden's 2nd birthday party! It was at Anderson Pointe Park. It was such a fun kid party and I was thrilled to have been invited! Mecaden is such a sweetheart and I love her so much. We have a secret little wave that we do (actually it used to be mine and Camden's but we don't really do it anymore.... not sure why). It's so cute when she does it to! Oh! I know.... it's the wave from the little rascals (the Hi sign or something like that). Anyway, it was super fun celebrating this sweet girl's birthday!

I couldn't decide on which picture I wanted to put on here so I just put both because they are both so cute!!!!!!!

Brown Boys

I spent my Saturday afternoon and evening over at the Brown house. No, it isn't actually a brown house. The Brown family lives there! :)

David and Ashley went out on a date and I stayed there with the boys! We had so much fun as always. And as always, I took some pictures! After the rents got home, I stayed and had some real adult conversation. It was a great way to spend my Saturday night!

I was taking a picture of Anderson and Camden hopped in and shouted "BROTHERSSSSSSSSSSSSSS." It was really funny! And I think this picture turned about pretty funny too! Not sure what Andy was thinking!

I LOVE his face in this picture. This is such an intense crawl or something! He was acutally trying to chase Camden..... Cam circled by him probably 10 times before he made it around the loop. He was just happy and laughing this hole time!

If you don't ever get to babysit these kids, you should be jealous! :)

Bella and Razors

So here is a little story for you. Let me preface this story with the fact that Bella LOVES razors. I have to keep my bathroom door shut or else she will run right in, jump in the shower and get my razor. I have caught her every time she has done this..... except for this past Friday night at 12:00 am. I was watching my new favorite TV show, 24, so my attention was solely on my television. I had given Bella a chewy which she always takes and shews on the end of my bed. That usually keeps her occupied for a good hour or two. Well, at one point, I looked down and saw that the stick to my razor was laying next to hear. I paused my show and started searching frantically for the head of the razor. It was no where to be found. I started to panic. I made a few phone calls to see what I should do and ended up calling the Animal Emergency Room in Cary (VSH). They told me I needed to bring her in because if she had swallowed the razor then it could cut her up inside severely. Well, I rushed there. At this point it was about 12:30 in the morning. They took her back and about half and hour later she came back out. And $355 later I found out that she did NOT swallow the razor. The razor is still no where to be found.

My dog stresses me out so much. She is lucky that I love her with all my heart and thinks she is super cute. I am thankful that she didn't swallow it and isn't hurt. I am also thankful that she didn't swallow it because I honestly could not have afforded it!

I think the picture above is so funny of her! I have several like this. It was almost like she was posing for the camera!

Update on Me.... probably boring!

This is mainly for all my out of town family who read my blog in hopes that they become more aware of what is actually going on in my life. I think most of the time they end up seeing pictures of cute kids or Bella! haha! I usually only post when I have pictures to go with it but here is one all about my life.

I am still enjoying my job as a nanny. John is just so much fun and I love him so much. We are really good buddies and love to laugh together. I am so spoiled by this job. As you can tell, we are spending a lot of time at the pool!

I always seems to be busy but I don't really know with what. Lately I have been busy house hunting! No, I am not in the market to buy a house..... I wish! I am hoping to rent a house with two of my friends. We want a cute bungalow house with hardwood floors (and I really want a fence for Bella). It is hard to find something at the right time. I am trying to be patient but we will find a really cute house or townhouse and then it will get rented out the very next day!

I am going to be doing some traveling this summer! I will be at the beach several different times. I am going to Topsail with the Thagards and then again with my mom, and then I am going to Myrtle with my dad, stepmom and then my dad's brother and his family. I am also going to Ohio in August (let's just say I am visiting my aunt and cousins who aren't really related to me). I love the summer and I wish it would stay here for longer than 4 months.

I am working at the YMCA part time. I have been doing this for about 4 months now. I am working in the nursery.... which I have done before. It's nice getting a little extra cash each week and it is also VERY nice getting a free membership to the YMCA! :) I love to go to the classes and my favorites are Zumba and Spin class!

Hmm.... I guess that is really all. I think my life can be pretty boring sometimes. I am with my friends a lot and have more recently been enjoying Friday nights watching movies by myself. That may seem sad but after the week, I really look forward to that!

Pool Days

John and I LOVE going to the pool! He just has so much fun and it really keeps him entertained! I love having him entertained and it is just plain fun. We have had about 7 pool dates so far and the summer is just getting started! In fact, our play group is meeting for it's first pool day of the summer!

Classy Cam.

This may be my favorite picture of John EVER. I think he is SO cute here and he is just so happy and having so much fun! Notice him swimming with the water wings..... they are GREAT and he loves them. While I still watch him like a hawk, he is able to "swim" and float around on his own. He is very comfortable in the water.
