GEEK!!!!!!!

Yes, I do have a slightly geeky side to me. One of the things that makes me slightly geeky is that I love computer games! BWAHAHA. My point to sharing this on here?

These are the cutest computer games on the internet! They are easy and cute and fun! So, if you are ever really bored, I would really check them out! My favorite is the one with the pigs....duh.

Last Minute Cookout!!

On Friday, Ashley, Emily and I planned a last minute cookout at my pool! It was so fun having them come over! I had a ton of leftover stuff some when I threw Heather a cookout so we were pretty much set!

Pool Season!

I am so excited that pool season is finally here! This past Friday, our friends Heather and Hugh invited us to come to North Hills Club with them. We were happy to go. I LOVE this pool as I have spent several summers going to it with other children I babysat. And I know John would absolutely love it.... and he did!

I think this is such a cute picture of him! This is him eating lunch at the table. He is such a big boy!!! I think we are going to have so much fun this summer with him being older and able to do more!!!! We already 2 potential pool dates this week!!!

Cool Dude!

HAHA! These are John's sunglasses and he LOVES wearing them! Or at least he wore them for like 30 minutes straight without pulling them off. I think this is one of the funniest pictures of him ever. Love him to pieces.

Lake Hyco

This past weekend, I went up to Chelsea's lake house for our semi-annual girls trip! This year we had an especially fun group - Chelsea, me, Ashley, Emily, Laura, Sadie (Chelsea's sis) and Thibault. It was so fun because this is our little group of close friends now! Chelsea, Laura and I headed up Friday night and the others came Saturday morning!

I hope you aren't mad at me for putting this on my blog, Emily! But I think it is a splendid picture! We spent the majority of Saturday on the dock or on the water - laying out, talking, riding the jet skiis and tubing!

Emily, me and Ashley tubing! The tube that we always used to ride broke down so we rode this one. It actually wasn't scary or really that much fun at all. I like to feel that adrenaline rush baby! And I usually am really scared but I wasn't at all on this. It was just a nice little ride.

So after this picture was taken we asked Chelsea to switch tubes. Ashley thought it might be more fun to try one of the others where who lay on your stomach and hold on. I was VERY apprehensive.

And if you can't tell by the looks on their face, it was super scary! This picture was taken after I had been on the thing for about 5 minutes and I had to say 'NO MORE.' I jumped off of that thing and swam to the boat as fast as I could. I really was holding on for my dear life and the things I were holding onto ripped! NOT COOL AT ALL. Ashley and Emily stayed on it and later had a near death experience..... that raft was 100% in the air and completely vertical. Boy, I was sure glad I jumped off that thing when I did. If we ever go back, I am sticking to the nice and safe ride!

I think this was after the near death experience..... Chelsea drove real slow and smooth back to the dock.

After our very yummy dinner, we just hung out and had a great time. This is Emily and Laura attempting to watch a 2 hour episode of grey's anatomy.

I had such a great weekend! Thank you girls! I can't wait for our next girl weekend!

Happy Birthday Heather!

Sunday was my best friend Heather's birthday! She deserved an extra special birthday this year so I threw her a surprise party down at our pool! It was so much because she has never had a surprise party before! It was so much fun seeing her so shocked! She knew absolutely nothing and it was SOOOOO hard for me not to tell her because I literally tell her everything! We had a fun time grilling out!

Me, Heather, Aimee and Addison. Aimee is Heather's friend from school and Addison is Heather's cousin's girlfriend! I love these girls and had so much fun celebrating Heather!!

Retirement

Friday was my stepmother's last day of work! She decided to retire! We went out on Friday night to celebrate. We went to McCormick and Schmick's. This was the first time I have ever been there! I don't eat seafood but my blackened chicken pasta was delicious!!

Me, my stepbrother Barry and my stepsister-in-law Kristi (she is married to Mitch, not Barry). Mitch is, of course, in Afghanistan and Natalie was studying for a final!
