snow adventures

I am amazed that it snowed in Raleigh again this year. I had given up hope for so long. I was so sad to not experience very many snow days while in college....I was always hoping for a big snow so classes would be canceled. :) I am very happy that it snowed over the weekend so I could enjoy the snow with friends. My roommate was out of town and they were talking about the possibility of the electricity going out, so I went to stay with some friends just in case that happened. I wasn't sure how I would entertain myself in the dark with no electricity for hours on end. Plus, I get scared really easily and that thought gave me a fright. Kathryn and Devon graciously invited me and Bella over to stay! And boy was it fun! I also had a little treat on Sunday by getting to go and visit the Browns for the morning through the afternoon!

While at Kathryn and Devon's we did so many fun things. We played in the snow, made snow cream which was a failure, watched movies, cooked yummy meals, put a puzzle together, did manicures, took a walk in north hills (that is where they live) and lots more! And while at Ashley and David's we got to go sledding! You will see some fun pictures below!

I bought some boots to play in the snow but they still weren't waterproof.... so Cara covered them up for me with bags and duct tape.

Ahhh.... the snow was so much fun to play in. Now it is ugly and brown so I wish it would just melt. I made my snow memories for the year so please go away snow ugly snow.
